Biomket is a marketplace specialized in the buying and selling of organic waste, designed to connect waste generators with authorized operators and managers who can efficiently and legally valorize that waste.

What types of waste can I offer or purchase on Biomket?

On Biomket, you can trade organic waste such as agro-food byproducts, plant waste, sewage sludge, food production residues, garden trimmings, etc., as long as they can be used afterwards (biogas, composting, animal feed, etc.).

Who can register on the platform?

Any company generating organic waste, as well as authorized managers, operators, traders or recovery plants. Biomket requires document verification to ensure legal compliance.

How do you ensure operations comply with waste regulations?

All companies must upload their licenses and authorizations. The platform also includes validation mechanisms for EWC codes and permitted valorization types according to Law 7/2022 and Royal Decree 553/2020.

What are the benefits of using Biomket for a waste generator?

What are the advantages for a waste operator or manager?

Initially, users must coordinate logistics between themselves. Later on, Biomket will suggest logistics operators, with the final goal of integrating on-demand logistics services into the platform.

Is there a cost to register or use the platform?

Registration is free. Biomket charges a small commission per closed transaction, which is clearly visible before confirming the deal.

How can I be sure about the quality of the waste?

Each listing may include technical sheets, photos, lab analyses, and users can rate their counterparts after each transaction.

What if there's a problem with a transaction?

Biomket offers support and mediation in case of disputes. Later, escrow services will be available to release payment only after successful delivery confirmation.
